Making 5 & 10 Addition Activity | Domino Shake and Spill 1st Grade Math Center
Domino Shake and Spill is a fun and interactive 1st grade math center activity focused on making 5 and making 10 that strengthens students' addition skills through decomposing and composing numbers. This hands-on activity reinforces number sense and fact fluency for sums within 10 and is perfect for independent practice or small group instruction! All you need are two-colored counters, a cup, and the domino mat and recording page included here. Shake and spill has always been a favorite of my students and I hope it is for yours, too!
